My Little Ponny (MLP) Cake

This cute and girly cake is for my son's classmate name kayla..she is turning 5 and celebrate her birthday at school..
Base cake is double chocolate cake 22cm and styrofoam dummy 15cm diameters, buttercream covered.

Chocolate Soil... It's surely edible!

Today I'm gonna post the dessert that make me anxious yet amazed in early days, hmmm obsessed maybe?yes! am obsessed to make this dessert after watching on Hitam Putih Trans 7 haha...
Actually this is a dessert from HYDE restaurant- kemang, becoming famous because it has very unique presentation....fresh leaves,dirty soil, worm inside, makes a  yucky yucky yummy feeling :P

Oke I won't upload Hyde's Chocolate Soil, I suggest You to search it  from Google :D (Prefer upload mine of course!)

So Here it is CHOCOLATE SOIL by Mommindri Cakes

Bottom Layer : Rocks
First Layer : Lump Soil
Second Layer :Worm
Top Layer : Soil
Garnish : Leaves
(All Edible)

I made rocks from cake chunks, lump from chocolate mousse, worm from chocolate jelly, soil from Oreo crumbs.

RECIPE :
- cake : just choose one of your favorite chocolate cake recipe, any cake can be used
- chocolate mousse : recipe from here
- chocolate jelly : i used chocolate flavour nutrijell,
- Oreo : oreo cookies without white cream, crumbed it.
- leaves : any leaves , for edible leaves, mint or basil leaves can be used

The taste is soo amazingly delicious, when you dig into that you will get worm and the soil is running out, messy but fun! And the chocolate mousse  is so smooth and melty..
